Journal #11 December 20th

  1. I learned how to put pictures in a timeline on Premiere Elements. I also learned how to select all of the pictures and change the 'time stretch' of them all.
  2. I was successful in importing pictures.
  3. One frustration that I had was in the order that the pictures imported. They were not in order which makes everything very confusing and annoying.
  4. This week I uploaded my pictures and began the process of putting them in order.

  2. I was successful in picking out a box and clay.
  3. I was frustrated when it came to painting the walls of my set. It did not work well.
  4. I  started to make my set. I picked out a box, clay and paints. I attempted to paint the walls of my set.

Journal #9- December 2nd

  1. I learned what supplies I need to use to make a professional looking set.
  2. I was successful in drawing out a plan of my set.
  3. Finding clay with the right colours was a big frustration.

Journal #8- November 25th

  1. I learned how too make a claymation.
  2. I was successful in planning out my claymation and having a good point behind it.

  4. This week I brainstormed ideas for what to do for my final video project. I also wrote a script and propasal for my idea.

  2. I was successful in uploading my video and editing everything correctly.
  3. I was frustrated because I thought I might not have enough time to complete my assignment by friday.

Journal #6

  1. I learned how to use the green screen effect in new ways. I used the effect on a green paper instead of a screen. I also learned how to edit and manipulate the green screen effect. I also learned how to layer videos.
  2. I was successful in using the green papers. The effect worked well and the outcome was satisfactory. I was successful in laying videos and getting them to all match up.
  3. I found it a bit frustrating to get the green screen effect to be exactly how I wanted it. It was a trail and error thing, and I came out with a lot of errors. Because I had so many layers with green screens on them, it was difficult to get the threshold and cutoff right.
  4. I used my time very well this week. I was diligent in filming and getting things recorded. I got a great start on editing my video and putting everything together. I think that I will be able to finish my video by the deadline.

3. We had trouble when we tried to record the music for the video, which pushed everything back. I also had trouble using Adobe Premiere Elements. It wasn't co-operating with me.
4. I used my time the best I could this week. There were days when nothing was working properly, but I still got everything done. I filmed my video outside, then I recorded the music, and then I edited the video.

Journal #4

1. I learned how to properly write out a proposal and script for a video. I learned what to include in a written proposal.
2. I was successful in writing a proposal and handing it in.
3. I found it frustrating to book days when I could film and record, when my actors and musicians also have things to do.
4. I used my time well this week. I spent all of my time writing my script and proposal.
